We celebrated our 7th year of being together here. The main meals were absolutely amazing!! However, everything is a bit pricy here. But aside from that I would rate it a 5/5 star!
I rarely leave reviews but this place deserves it! I never finish meals out but I ate every bite. We shared the burrata to start, and we got the short rib and the chicken supreme (stuffed with bacon and goat cheese with a bacon risotto and honey carrots). The flavours were so amazing. Almost like an elevated home cooked meal. Warm and cozy type flavours. Meat was cooked perfectly. I was so impressed. Perfect portions, definitely quality over quantity. We got dessert too which was rich and creamy.
Great atmosphere and fit out. Cocktails delicious, pistachio espresso martini yum! Meals were very tasty, a little expensive but also great quality. Duck was fantastic and the burrata outstanding.
Stopped in for an espresso martini a few weeks ago and it was so good I’ve been wanting to come back to try the food — myself, my boyfriend and friend came in tonight and got the special (rack of lamb), the duck, and a burger and some drinks. Rack of lamb was hands down the best dinner I’ve had in awhile, ate absolutely everything on the plate which is rare. Our buddy got the duck and loved it and it looked great. My partner got the burger and the thought the cook was perfect and super tasty, although the bun seemed to dry it out a little much but still enjoyable. Had the grilled octopus as an appetizer, always nervous about seafood but it was cooked perfect and the marinara with it was super balanced. Cocktail menu is more elevated than most and they do a great job. Super impressed! thank you.
Situated right across from the water, this place has a very upscale vibe. We ordered the burrata to start, followed by the Agnolotti and Striploin. The presentation was immaculate. Although the Striploin was definitely a bit too charred, it was still a medium and tasted great. The pistachio espresso martini was also very tasty. DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT HAVING THE BUDINO! Thank me later!
Just wow! The food was beyond expectations and I was actually blown away. The portion sizes were perfect and the presentation made me want to dig right in. As for the flavor...probably one of the best meals I've ever had. The pricing compared to restaurants of this caliber is well below what they should be charging. We tried the chicken piccata, the linguini carbonara, caesar salad, burrata, cheesecake. All amazing. I Daniel, our server, provided great recommendations, was very friendly and personable, and we both agreed on the attention to detail executed by the chef. After I raved about the food for the 12th time, Daniel passed the messages along to the chef who took the time to meet my partner and I. ( and our dog who they allowed on the patio and brought her some water) Chef Greg explained the food is locally sourced and a lot of it is organic. Well done Greg. I'll be coming back any chance I can.
Delicious food, kind service and great location! We had the duck to start (so good), I had the pasta with green peas (I forget the name lol), and my husband had the burger. We loved all the food we ordered, there was a good variety of choice for both food and drinks.
Came here during localicious after being recommended this restaurant by a friend. We ordered the croquettes to start which were amazing. I had the chicken which was super flavourful and my boyfriend had the cod which he enjoyed. We both had the Nanaimo cheesecake which was a nice way to end the meal. Aside from the food our waitress was friendly and attentive. We made reservations and we were happy with the table we were given. We’re looking forward to coming back and trying their regular menu!
